SWIS SPhone Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

SWIS SPhone is developed and operated by SWIS Technologies, India. This application is designed as a privacy-first dialer with on-device scam risk detection. All core functionality operates locally on your device.

2. Our Privacy Model

The application does not transmit personal data to external servers. We do not sell, rent, share, or monetize user data. No advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, tracking systems, cloud accounts, or user login systems are used. All processing occurs locally on your device.

3. Information Accessed Locally

To function as a dialer, the app may access call state, phone numbers involved in calls, call duration, DTMF tone events, speaker and headset state, and proximity sensor data. The app does NOT record call audio, store call audio, transmit audio, or analyze voice content.

4. Contacts Access

With user permission, the app accesses contact names and phone numbers strictly for dialer functionality, contact lookup, and T9 search. Contact data remains on the device and is never transmitted.

5. Local Storage

The app stores limited information locally such as call logs, blocked numbers, user preferences, and optional forensic event logs. All stored data remains on your device and is not accessible to SWIS Technologies.

6. PDF Export Feature

If enabled by the user, a PDF report containing call metadata and behavioral event logs may be generated. This file does not include audio recordings or voice content. It is saved locally in the device's public Downloads directory under "SWIS_Logs". The app does not automatically share or upload this file.

7. Data Retention

Data remains stored only on your device for as long as it exists there. Users may delete logs or uninstall the app at any time. SWIS Technologies maintains no external copies.

8. Default Dialer Role

To function properly, SWIS SPhone must be set as the device's default phone application. All permissions are used strictly within Android system frameworks.

9. Security

All processing occurs within Android's application sandbox. Protection relies on Android system-level isolation and device-level encryption where enabled.

10. Children's Privacy

The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no data is transmitted to us, we do not have the ability to identify users by age.

11. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect feature changes or legal requirements. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of updates.

SWIS SPhone Permissions Explained

P1. Call Access

Needed to make and manage calls, detect call state, and identify incoming calls. The app does NOT record or transmit your audio.

P2. Contacts Access

Needed to access your contacts for T9 search and quick dial. Also used to check if the number is unknown. (Scam Protection) Contacts remain on your device and are never transmitted.

P3. Call Log Access

Needed to display recent calls and analyze patterns for scam detection. No call content is stored or shared.

P4. Answer Phone Calls

Needed if you want SWIS SPhone to assist in answering calls via the app interface.

P5. Notifications

Needed to send scam alerts and other app notifications. Only triggers notifications, no extra data is collected.
